Chris reviewed on National Aviation Academy

business listing rating I attended this school and graduated with a 99% GPA. All the comments about this for-profit school only caring about money is true. The school charges $30, 500 per student and puts 55-58 students per 1 instructor. You will have to fight for instructor attention/instruction. There are so many in 1 class they forget about you. I have military aviation training and couldnt believe what some of the instructors were telling us to do. Unsafe practices all day. Bad information too. AGED training engines. The newest engine is 1960's era. 7 aircraft at the hangar and not 1 is even close to air worthy. If you want your AandP, go to PIA, AIM, Embry Riddle, or another reputable company. This school is only for money. Average instructor age is 60. That is not a joke. If your 5 minutes late, you will have to make up an hour and pay $15.75 per hour makeup. I am a disabled, retired vet and had dr appointments. I can tell you from experience. This school was audited in 2010 for student loan infractions. They are crooked and will take you for a ride. There are 3 instructors there that are worth a damn. Stacey, Rich, Darin. If it werent for them, I would sue the school for false advertisement. 48 veterans that attended the school are now trying to get the school black listed with the VA. We were dropped in the middle of training because the tuition department lied. They have no idea what they are doing. Please avoid this school for your own good. I got took, dont let it happen to you. posted on Friday, August 03, 2012
