At first, they seem upfront about the cost and repairs. Don't ever tell them your budget. I was quoted 450 to 500 with a tune up. They charged me 583, did not tell me they did not do the tune up, until I called and asked about it.(it was written on my invoice but nothing had been changed). They advised me several times other things may go wrong, first time out on the the lake right after picking up boat over heated and leaked water from multiple hoses. not one hose was tightened, several things were overlooked. This is no big deal but they did not return my drain plug. After picking up boat and driving right to the lake, I was stuck and had to borrow one from another boater. Bottom line they had my boat for over a week, repaired nothing and made the issue worse. I am now paying another mechanic to repair the boat. I would stay away from this shop, unless you are looking for a way to donate money that you can not write off on your taxes. posted on Sunday, August 05, 2012
