Chelmsford has made some good improvements in rcneet years. It's High Street has been fully pedestrianised for a long time now and this is a great benefit to shopping in the town. The whole of the town centre is usually very busy on a Saturday which is a good sign that a lot of people are drawn to the town centre.More rcneetly Moulsham Street widened its pavements to attract more shoppers. Although some local shops are against the wider pavements, as cars can no longer pull up outside shops and cafes, it is a much safer and more pleasant area to walk along now.Overall Chelmsford is a great blueprint for how a modern town should look.
