John, This is a great question and one that nedeed to be addressed. The short answer is that I will always vote for the greater good of Ogdensburg as you put it. Those may be meaningless words, but to anyone that knows me, they know I believe in integrity and honesty and I promise you that my voting record will be that to benefit Ogdensburg. I have a couple of examples of how I have already put my personal interest aside to better the community.1. When the former hotel/marina was purchased last summer, I went to the next planning board meeting and told the city staff and board that the planning office should do whatever they possibly could to help the new owners develop the old hotel/marina site. I even stated that I didn't care if they open a marina and compete directly against me, the city just needs to help them develop this property so it does not sit undeveloped any longer.2. When a developer arrived in town over the summer, I took them on a tour of the city showing them the riverfront property. I showed them two sites that could be developed as either residential or commercial areas that would include a marina.My track records proves that I will put the greater good of Ogdensburg first and I give you my word that I will.
