business listing rating Let me try to say this delicately. GEO sends out quarterly glossy 'propaganda' magazines telling everyone how good they are...when in truth....well, let's see....

They broke their contract with EMCF that was due to last through 2015...because they only made in the hundreds of thousands of dollars instead of the millions they usually make. They don't pay staff enough to keep quality competent workers. They take short cuts wherever and whenever they can...they talk the talk but can't walk the walk.

As mentioned above, they broke their contract with the state...good business, eh? That's left hundreds of employees wondering IF they will have a job after July 18...although we've been told that 90% of us will...what about the other 10%? Many have been offered the opportunity to transfer to other facilities...well, now...to me, if they will break a contract here, they'll break it anywhere. I can't speak for other GEO prisons, but at EMCF, the inmates run the facility. There have been at least two deaths in recent months...All in all, GEO is bad business...the almighty dollar rules them and consequently, they try to squeeze out every one that they can...and, in the quarterly magazine, they pat themselves on their backs at what a good job they do. If that's so...anyone want to buy the Eiffel Tower?
If GEO's lawyers see this and are somewhat 'hacked off'...a disclaimer: the above words are MY OPINION and should not be taken as fact...albeit as true as it can be...so...Work for GEO only if you're starving...and then long enough to find something else.
